The Nutcracker

img_6943img_6945

Welcome back guys!  Today I’m sharing my outfit for one of my favorite holiday traditions- The Nutcracker!  I really love the ballet, and combining it with Christmastime is like the ultimate reason to break out the formal attire (or the tulle.  All the tulle, please).  You can see my last Nutcracker inspired post here.  It’s always fun for me to see how my style evolves, especially since I can so clearly witness it through blog pictures.  Two years ago I was all about the pastels, and now I think this elegant midi dress is the perfect ballet outfit.  Naturally, I’m looking forward to see what I wear in years to come!

Thanksgiving Dress

img_6989img_6968img_6992img_6966

Welcome back guys!  I hope you all had a great weekend.  My sister brought me along to the ski and snowboard expo with her and it got us a bit excited for winter sports and holiday celebrations.

This Zara find is the perfect dress for Thanksgiving.  The plaid is perfectly festive, the sleeves keep things trendy, and is loose enough that no one can give you a hard time for that fourth slice of pie.  I was feeling ambitious and tried to bare my already-winter-white legs this weekend, but I also think this short little number would look just as good with tights and booties!

November Spots

img_6737img_6729

Happy Hump Day guys!  This leopard print scarf is back and I’m not even a little sorry about it.  I could probably keep finding more ways to wear fall’s favorite print, but I’ll try to find something new to share with you first ;).  Seriously though, whether its an all neutral outfit or one of my favorite fall hues like burgundy or olive, leopard is always the perfect pop to add in an accessory.

Fall in Providence

img_6827img_6913img_6817img_6912img_6828

Happy Monday y’all!  I hope your week is off to a good start so far.  Today I’m sharing a few pics I snapped in Providence over the weekend.  This blazer from Zara is one of my all time favorites.  It’s about five years old and it comes back year after year when the leaves start to fall, because the only more quintessential New-England-in-fall style than tweed just might be elbow patches.

Make sure you guys stop by again tomorrow-I’ll be sharing my favorite things to do in Providence for a special Tuesday post!

Black and Tan

Camel Suede Zara Skirt, Coach Crossbody Bag Black Faux Leather Topshop Jacket Black and Tan | The Sol Compass Classic Black and White Combo

As a generally colorful dresser, this all neutral look may seem a bit unusual for me.  I love black and tan together, and to me they seem perfect for the month of November.  Every item featured here is on regular rotation in my fall wardrobe, and make for great classic and investment pieces.
