Happy Friday my loves! With this unexpected heat wave this week, I have been embracing light colors and airy fabrics as much as possible. You may recognize this yellow skirt that I wore nonstop two summers ago from this post and this post, so I decided to bring it back with some pink accents this time. Yellow is one of spring’s hot colors this year, so I was able to find similar styles here, here, and here. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it pairs with a variety of colors, from olive to pink.

Pink & Yellow

Happy Hump Day my loves! I hope you all are having a great week so far. I have been embracing spring colors like they’re going out of style, and I love the unexpected effect of pairing hues close together on the color wheel like pink and yellow. This combo would look great alone for an event, with a casual denim jacket for weekend wear, or with a gray blazer for something a little more formal. I chose to go with gray since it adds a nice neutral touch to the bright colors and makes the bold combination appropriate for nearly any occasion!

Sunshine on a Cloudy Day

Welcome back friends! I am not the least bit surprised that I have been living in these adorable yellow heels since they arrived on my doorstep. For the cold and overcast New England days they are the perfect way to bring a touch of spring and sunshine into my outfits without breaking out the open toe shoes (there is still a foot of snow on the ground, after all).
