Happy Friday friends! I hope you all had a great week. Mine was vastly improved by the addition of this gorgeous skirt. The deep cranberry color would definitely work throughout the fall and winter, but in the month of December it gives a subtle festive feel. The combination of lace in a conventional pencil silhouette makes it appropriate for any event you have on your calendar this month.

Despite being fashion’s favorite season, and indisputably the prettiest, fall always gives me a small case of the blues. While I love fall as much as the next person, it’s always sad to say goodbye to summer adventures, wearing skirts and dresses; especially knowing that the dreadful cold and snow of winter is just around the corner. One of my favorite coping methods last week was taking one of my favorite summer items (a skirt) and pairing it with my must have winter items (a sweater) to make a perfect fall ensemble.
