Hey everyone, happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I wore this pretty dress over the weekend to a vow renewal ceremony for one of Bryan’s best friends, and no one could believe that I got it at Target (0 for 4 all day, which always happens with my Target finds!) I love the soft lines and how instantly pulled together I felt after putting it on! I got so many compliments I can’t wait to pair it with a pair of heeled booties in the colder weather (it was 86 degrees and scorching sun while we were taking these photos… Yay New England!) Early Fall Essentials

Hello everyone, Happy Friday! I hope you all saw Wednesday’s post – if you haven’t yet make sure you enter the giveaway! It’s been such a pleasure sharing my life and style with you all over the past three years, I can’t wait to keep doing more of it!

Today’s post features all of my must have pieces for September and the early fall weather. A heavy midi skirt like this crochet one in a fall color such as olive (though this one comes in five more colors here and here!) My trusty denim jacket will continue to grace my outfits as the temps dip colder at night, and these leopard print pumps have started to work their way back into my outfits at last!

Fall Fabrics

Hello everyone, welcome back! Lately I have been scoping out the fall fashion scene, so I took a look back into my closet to see what items I always wear during autumn months. Leather and denim are two staples that I can’t imagine going through October without! Paired together, they make a chic combination that will transition well from cool August days (with sandals) into colder days with a pair of ankle boots!

Pleats Please

Happy Monday and welcome back! If you’ve been following The Sol Compass for a while now, you may know that I love pairing a simple tee with a more formal skirt. Last week I went outlet shopping with my mom and scored this navy v-neck and orange tank for only $21 total at the Banana Republic Factory Store with the promos they were having – and with shirts this soft you just can’t ask for better than that! I was planning on wearing my navy heels with this, but the weather was so nice over the weekend that I just had to break out my sandals while the weather still allowed it. Plus it gave me a chance to show off this amazing new color polish from the OPI Washington DC Collection on my nails and toes!
