Edgy Valentine’s Day Look

img_8996img_9008img_8994

Happy Friday everyone!  Today I’m sharing a little Valentine’s Day inspired look that isn’t anchored in the overly sweet pink and purple combo.  If you want to celebrate looking mildly festive, a sleek black look with a pop of burgundy is a great way to tone it down.  I love this post Who What Wear shared about trying burgundy out for Valentine’s Day – I love mine and think Valentine’s Day is a great occasion to break it back out!

Splash of Bordeaux

Welcome back!  In today’s post I wanted to put a spin on this jacket that I traditionally pair with navy or black (like I did a year and a half ago here).  I’ve also been challenging myself to find fresh ways to wear white after Labor Day while looking seasonally appropriate, like I did in this post last week.  A white top on white bottoms is a great way to accent another color, such as this seasonal favorite bordeaux.
