Hey guys! I hope you all enjoyed meeting my sister on Monday. She always surprises me with her out of the box fashion choices, and how she always manages to show her personality through her clothes, whether it’s on the weekend or at a 9-5 job.

I suppose a similar thing could be said about me, since I love wearing nautical stripes and color combinations even past summer’s unofficial end on Labor Day as homage to my beloved sea.

Hey guys! Happy Monday. Today I’m sharing a look I wore in New York over the weekend for my grandmother’s birthday dinner. This nautical skirt is just perfect for dinner by the water, I didn’t even think twice before adding it to my shopping cart. On that note, Banana Republic has been killing the game lately and their new arrivals section looks like the fastest way to drain my bank account. I scooped up so many fabulous late summer and fall picks that the next few weeks will be full of Banana styles. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Anchors Aweigh

Happy Hump Day! New England keeps throwing these amazingly sunny days our way and I have jumped at the occasion to wear all of my skirts again-despite the fact that my legs are still a gross shade of winter white. Splash of Orange

Spring weather keeps making cameo appearances around Boston, and I could not be any more excited about it! Warmer weather for me always means exploring new cities and rediscovering my own. For these exciting spring days, a fun yet functional bag and cute but comfortable walking shoes are musts! I love the bright smoothie orange of this backpack and Sperry makes my absolute favorite walking shoes! They’re super cute but can last all day long while exploring a city.

A Nautical Winter

With temperatures now consistently below 40, I finally accepted the fact that winter is here for good. Luckily, I found the perfect cold weather accessories to make myself a little bit more excited for the winter (but only a little).

I am seriously in love with these Sperry Top-Sider duck boots. Not only are they great for walking through the snow and the slush, but they also bring one of my favorite summer trends (nautical stripes) into winter. I could easily wear navy and red all summer long, and I love that these boots make it possible to do so in the winter as well!

Other winter trends I can’t get enough of: toggle coats, leather gloves, and plaid blanket scarves!
