Pattern Mixing

Hey everyone, happy hump day!  One of the fashion related questions I’m most asked by people is how to mix different patterns.  I may not be the best resource for this because I think stripes go with everything.  Alas, one of the bases of pattern mixing in my book is color coordination.  Prints in the same color palette effortless enhance each other, rather than heavily clashing.

Hibiscus

This hibiscus print skirt from J.Crew is the perfect spring print!  I love how many color options there are to choose from, it would easily look just as good with a white top and black heels as it does with blue and pink accents!  I am such a sucker for a good skirt, but if they aren’t your thing there are tons of other options in this print, including this scarf, dress, top, and shorts!  They are all so perfect for spring I can hardly believe they’re all on sale!
