Cinnamon Sweater

I am totally obsessed with this cinnamon sweater from J.Crew Factory.  It’s the perfect color for November, especially when paired with other rich hues like this plum or a dark sage.  I happen to love it layered with a reliable chambray, so this week I’m going to be sharing the two ways I styled it for Thanksgiving week!

I knew right away that I had to layer this sweater under this Helene Berman cape I got last year (last seen here).  Capes are great for traveling, since they’re warm, comfortable, and chic all at the same time.  Swap out a pair of boots for some heeled booties and this outfit is ready for even the most discerning grandmother.

Outfit Details – Cape: Helene Berman via Nordstrom (last year, love this, this, this, and this; pretty burgundy coat here) | Sweater: J.Crew Factory | Chambray: American Eagle | Jeans: Lucky Brand | Booties: Ann Taylor (old, similar here and here) | Purse: Vera Bradley | Rings: French Connection | Earrings: Bauble Bar

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you all have a great Monday!

One of the only things I truly enjoy about winter is the cold weather accessories.  They are the perfect way to put a personal touch on a black peacoat.  This waffle infinity scarf is so comfy and low maintenance (I also have it in black!)  It’s perfect for windy days and the days where I just can’t handle constantly adjusting a fussy scarf.  To be honest, there are more of those than I would like to admit!  Anyone who lives in Boston has to agree that lately we’ve been giving Chicago a run for its affectionate nickname, which makes keeping a scarf tied around my neck nearly impossible.
