Anchors Aweigh

Happy Hump Day! New England keeps throwing these amazingly sunny days our way and I have jumped at the occasion to wear all of my skirts again-despite the fact that my legs are still a gross shade of winter white.  Hopefully tanner days are coming.  Until then I’ll just be over here in my anchor sweater and anchor necklace day dreaming about sailing days.  Too soon?

Cobalt

Happy Monday!  I hope everyone had a great weekend!  It was so gorgeous out in Boston this weekend I had a perfect Saturday walking around the Seaport, finishing the day with a stop at my favorite Mexican place, Rosa Mexicano.  It was so nice being able to walk outside comfortably without winter clothes on!

Cobalt is by far one of my favorite colors to wear.  It’s bright and vibrant, and yet appropriate for any situation.  As promised, these circus inspired frames from Warby Parker’s spring collection add the perfect touch of excitement to any outfit, even a standard professional look like a white collared shirt and black pencil skirt!

Warby Parker

One of the lofty dreams I had when I first started this blog was being able to work with brands I love to share amazing products with people.  I’m constantly excited and blown away by the opportunities the cultivation of this internet space has presented to me.

Warby Parker is the epitome of an inspirational brand to me.  They create a chic, stylish, and functional product (prescription glasses and sunglasses) while adhering to their “Buy a Pair, Give a Pair” program.  By cutting out the middleman, Warby Parker is able to keep their products at an incredibly reasonable price; sacrificing none of the function or fashion, but gaining the incredible opportunity to donate to VisionSpring.

That quick history lesson aside, Warby Parker’s Spring 2016 Collection is the real deal and a perfect fit for The Sol Compass.  As the biggest color lover around, I am loving the bold hues and lively frame shapes.  Inspired by the circus and still 100% tasteful enough for daily life, there’s a pair for every free-spirit.  (I actually have this weird obsession with the old fashioned circus, and have a huge list of circus themed literature I adore, if anyone is interested).  That being said, circus inspired eyewear for the fun-loving individual is right up my alley.

If all the new styles look too good for you to possibly decide, one of my favorite Warby Parker features is the Home Try-On Kit, where you can try on five pairs of glasses for five days and pick which one suits you best.  Be sure to use the hashtag #WarbyHomeTryOn on Twitter and Instagram, so the WP team can find you and tell you which pair suits you best!

I’m sharing some of my favorite images from their beautifully inspired lookbook here today, but check back in soon to see how I style some of my new favorites!
