Treat Every Day Like Christmas

Happy Monday!  Good luck with any last minute shopping/errands/wrapping/baking/hosting/working you have to accomplish in the next couple of days!  Ever since Thanksgiving I have felt like my To Do list is miles long and it can really get a person worked up and stressed out trying to cram so much into such a short amount of time!  In these moments, it’s more important than ever to take a moment to remember the true reason for the season and appreciate everything we have and the loved ones we have been blessed with.  Buddy the Elf said it best, “treat every day like Christmas”.  This outfit is my style interpretation of his significantly less superficial statement, and it is amazingly comfy (perfect for being simultaneously on the go and festive!)

Holiday Season is in full swing this week!  One of my favorite results is the constant excuse to don a killer pair of heels or a little extra sparkle for any (and every) occasion!

This year, I’m all about separates for my holiday outfits.  As much as I adore holiday dresses, I’m even more obsessed with the idea that by dressing in separates, I’m building my future wardrobe for the rest of the months to come as I mix and match the pieces to form a plethora of different looks!  For this weekend, I’m loving this cozy snowflake sweater and green skirt to stand out from the sea of black and red.  With extra pops of color I think it really makes a statement that’s festive but individual all at the same time.
