I know there is technically no official title of ‘Sweater Expert’, but if there were I would definitely be in contention for that crown. I have tried sweaters from all over- online shops, brick and mortar stores; high end and low end- searching for the ones that will get me through the miserably cold New England winter. After such an elaborate search over the past few years, I can say with complete confidence that GAP Inc. brands make my favorite and most reliable sweaters across the board- I know that I can walk into an Old Navy, GAP, or Banana Republic store and be 100% satisfied with their sweater selection at any given time. I recently wore some of my favorites on the blog here and here! When I walked into Banana Republic and saw these turtlenecks displayed on the front table, the only question I had was which color to buy it in. Orange, my favorite color, ultimately won out- but it was definitely a close race!
Outfit Details – Sweater: Banana Republic | Jeans: Lucky Brand | Boots: Ivanka Trump | Earrings: Banana Republic (old, similar here)

I finally bought an orange sweater this year for the winter ( Woolovers merino/cashmere with a snugger fit polo/turtleneck rather than the looser cowl collar you’re sporting ).
I have been called Velma Dinkley a couple of times ( or have been greeted with cries of ” Jinkies !!! A clue !!! ” ), but it has been well worth it and I’ve worn it half to death already 🙂
