Happy Sunday, world! Fair Isle sweaters are such a huge weakness of mine (I cannot stop buying them year after year!)  I’m back in NYC this week visiting my family, so when I picked up this sweater at Old Navy a few weeks ago, it instantly reserved a spot in my suitcase.  It is perfect for Christmastide celebrations- still festive and fun, but cozy and not fussy.  With a car full of gifts and cookie trays, I was really tight on luggage space for myself when packing for this week.  Fair Isle sweaters, with their fun patterns, are perfect to wear on their own; so I didn’t need to worry about trying to find space for extra accessories and layers.  However this sweater is perfect for layering and accessorizing when you have your own closet available- check out some of my favorite ways below!

Check out some more Fair Isle styles I love at Gap, Talbots, J.Crew and J.Crew Factory!

Outfit Details: Sweater: Old Navy | Jeans: Lucky Brand | Booties: Target (old, love this similar pair and this lower heel!) | Lipstick: MAC New York Apple

PS Please pardon the iPhone pictures today! I tried to do the best with what I had available in between family time!
